i usually straighten my hair for the first day of school, then i curl it for the second, then i try a low pony tail. you could also go for the bobby pined pony tail, where you kinda push up half your hair to make it look round , then tie it in a ponytail. it looks totally cute. i also wash my hair at night, then sleep with it in a messy bun, and the next morning i take out the bun, pinn my bangs to the side, then put the rest of my hair in another messy bun, and it looks tres manifique.

I would recommend that you wear it the way you always do. Why? Because if you get it cut and styled now it won't have time to grow out if you are unhappy with it. Also, if you mess with your hair the first day of school, you will be fussing and worrying about your hair all day long instead of paying attention to what you should be doing.

Half-up half-down. You can leave the up part in a pony or put it in a cute litte bun. If you have bangs or short layers near your face (chin length or shorter) leave those hanging out for a bang effect. This is a cute look, but somewhat sophisticated.

wash your hair the night before-DO NOT DRY-and put it in 2 buns. In the morning, take out the buns, dry your hair upside down and use a little sprunch spray (Aussie). Fluff it a little with your fingers and you're ready to go! (p.s.: I've gotten a couple compliments with this style....and not just girls!)
